About the club…
Palm Beach Flight Club was founded in 2013 on shared principles between founders and members. Conceived as a social organization for pilots, Club members share the goal of affordable flying while incorporating hobby, safety, education and camaraderie.
For pilots planning to fly at least 3 hours per month, a monthly membership fee unlocks the economic savings of shared aircraft fixed costs. Club aircraft are each selected to meet the needs of the membership, with expansion of the flight line to include additional aircraft possible upon members’ request.
The Club pledges to maintain a low ratio of members to aircraft to ensure a high level of availability. Primary training will be performed in our 172 SP with limited student members in the club. Advanced training, which includes additional ratings, BFRs, and currency training is encouraged with club instructors. Tach time billing saves on every flight. We have found pattern can be 50% less when charged at Tach time rather than traditional Hobb time with 3/4 of the pattern at reduced power settings.
