About the club…
Palm Beach Flight Club was founded in 2013 on shared principles among founders and members. Conceived as a social organization for pilots, Club members share the goal of affordable flying while incorporating hobby, safety, education and camaraderie.
Since a reorganization and investment in 2020 by current ownership, the Club has refreshed its commitment to the original mission, bringing on line a variety of new aircraft and continuing to grow a vibrant group of passionate aviators.
For pilots planning to fly at least 3 hours per month, a monthly membership fee unlocks the economic savings of shared aircraft fixed costs. Each Club aircraft is selected to meet the needs of the membership, with ongoing efforts to expand the flight line.
The Club pledges to maintain a low ratio of members to aircraft to ensure a high level of availability. The Club culture encourages continuous training, which includes added ratings, BFRs, and instrument training with club instructors. Certain primary training is available with approval. Tach time billing saves on every flight. We have found pattern work can cost 50% less when charged at Tach time rather than traditional Hobbs time, with 3/4 of the pattern at reduced power settings.
